Tutoring and mentoring

I work one-on-one and in small groups with students who want to go deep in mathematics, machine learning, or both. The focus is on building real intuition and the kind of fluency that makes hard problems feel approachable rather than intimidating.

Who this is for

• Contest mathematics. AMC, AIME, Putnam, and related olympiad preparation, including the problem-solving habits that transfer well to research and graduate work.
• College-level math and ML. Linear algebra, real analysis, probability, optimization, statistical learning, deep learning, and the bridges between them.
• Advanced, gifted, and 2e learners. Students who are working well ahead of their grade level, or who learn unevenly across subjects, and want a mentor who can meet them where they actually are.

How sessions work

Sessions are conversational, problem-driven, and tailored to the student. Most students work with me on a regular weekly schedule. I am happy to talk with you (and a parent, where appropriate) before committing to a regular slot, to make sure it’s a good fit on both sides.
